Sensei Nick’s martial arts journey began in his teens, training in Japanese Jiu-Jitsu under Sensei Darrell LaFrance. A 3rd-degree black belt in Jujutsu with over 10 years of experience, Nick brings a rare combination of technical skill and teaching expertise. He is a certified educator through the Ontario College of Teachers and works full-time as a respected elementary school teacher with the Durham Catholic School Board. His professional background in education deeply informs his approach on the mat—connecting age-appropriate instruction with physical development in a way that resonates with students of all ages.
