Our lineage draws from the Budo Life Centre in Markham under Shihan Ron Yamanaka, a true legend in the world of Canadian martial arts, with a career spanning decades and a profound impact on martial arts communities across the globe. We also hold lineage through Black Belt Hall of Fame member, Sensei Darrell LaFrance who created Kumo Jujutsu, a cornerstone of martial arts in Clarington and across Canada for over 4 decades. These influences shape a curriculum that is both technically sound and rooted in the deeper purpose of martial training offering modern applications and traditional principles.

Our lineage is a source of pride and credibility. We train under the guidance of Shihan Ron Yamanaka, founder of the Budo Life Centre in Markham and a Canadian martial arts legend whose influence spans decades and reaches practitioners worldwide. Our Kumo Jujitsu system is passed down by Black Belt Hall of Fame member Sensei Darrel LaFrance, ensuring our students learn from a legacy of excellence and technical mastery.
